Food Science & Engineering Unit Administration

Resident Instruction Instructor(070124)

Position:
The Division of Food Systems and Bioengineering (FSB) is seeking a faculty member at the Instructor level to teach undergraduate courses and provide assistance with student services. This is a position with 100% teaching and advising responsibility. The position requires the ability to work closely with faculty, staff and students in several facets of student advising and student services. The successful candidate will be expected to teach selected undergraduate courses that impact students across the division, and develop division-wide undergraduate courses. This is a 12- month position, including summer teaching and student services activities.

Qualifications:
Masters degree in a management or business-related discipline, or any of the disciplines (ASM, FS, HRM) within the Division. This individual must have experience with internships, either by previous participation or supervision of student internships, as well as experience with student organizations. Experience in developing and teaching undergraduate courses, engaging in advising activities, and experience with student scholarships is preferred. This individual should have the ability to interact with professional organizations while serving as a liaison for divisional programs.

Salary & Start Date:
Salary range is $45,000 - $55,000. The successful candidate will begin as soon as an appropriate individual is identified and hired.
