Description:
The Department of Economics at the University of Missouri, Columbia, is seeking an Assistant Professor. This is a regular, tenure-track faculty position including teaching, research and service.

Responsibilities:
Duties include providing high quality graduate and undergraduate instruction in economics, publishing research in respected peer-reviewed outlets, and serving on department, college, and university committees as needed.

Qualifications:
Outstanding candidates in all fields will be considered. New Ph.D.s and junior assistant professors are encouraged to apply. Assistant professors are expected to provide competent teaching and show potential for producing high-quality research. A Ph.D. at appointment is preferred.

Salary & Start Date:
Start date Sepetember 1, 2008. Saalry is negotiable and competitive.
