Clinical Assistant Professor (080102)

Position:
The Department of Health Psychology, in the University of Missouri, School of Health Professions, seeks applicants for a clinical assistant professor position located at the Missouri Rehabilitation Center in Mount Vernon, Missouri.

Responsibilities:
The faculty member will function as a staff psychologist working as a member of an interdisciplinary team of rehabilitation professionals who provide comprehensive services to individuals with a history of TBI, CVA, SCI, and advanced pulmonary conditions. Responsibilities may also include the supervision of trainees and participation in research activities.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have a Doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology, or equivalent, from an APA approved program and have completed post-doctoral training in rehabilitation and/or neuropsychology in a medical setting. Applicants must be licensed, or eligible to be licensed, by the Missouri State Committee of Psychologists. In addition to having strong assessment and therapy skills, the applicant should possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Salary and Start Date:
Start Date: 9/1/08
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 based on experience level
