School of Journalism:

Visual Communication, Photojournalism Professor (080064)

Position:
The Missouri School of Journalism seeks a visual communications faculty member with expertise in one or more of the following areas: photojournalism history, theory and/or research, image critique, or multimedia with a focus on online images, still or moving.

Qualifications:
Experience as a photojournalist and/or multimedia producer is preferred. Previous teaching experience is preferred, as is an ability and interest in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. This nine-month tenure-track position requires a PhD. The successful applicant will have a research agenda that would benefit from close proximity to the photography archives of the renowned Pictures of the Year International, the Missouri Photo Workshop, the College Photographer of the Year and the recently created Missouri Photojournalism Archives of the Angus and Betty McDougall Center for Photojournalism Studies.
