School of Medicine: Internal Medicine

Assistant or Associate Professor of Endocrinology (060358)

Position:
The University of Missouri-Columbia, Department of Internal Medicine is seeking a full-time Associate Professor/Professor clinician-educator to provide leadership to the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism. The University of Missouri-Columbia is an expanding health system with growth opportunities in several areas of our clinical enterprise. Numerous opportunities for collaboration exist within the University community including ability to participate in ongoing clinical trials and collaboration with established basic science research programs. This is a tenure track or tenured position that includes an endowment with Life Science Mission Enhancement funding from the State of Missouri. The Department of Internal Medicine has innovative faculty who emphasize high-quality clinical care and exception teaching.

Responsibilites:
Productive research in Endocrinology and related fields.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate should be BE/BC in Endocrinology, have research experience in diabetes and related complications and the ability to secure funding within three years.
