Research Associate Pulmonary (070292)
Position:
The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Environmental Medicine at the University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking a Research Associate for a non-tenure track position. Current projects in our lab include:
- Gene therapy in lung cancer cell lines
- Nanoparticle application in lung cancer, in vitro and in vivo
- Aerosolized delivery of various medications and gene therapy
- Studies in a mouse model of emphysema
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to assist in the development and to maintain externally funded research programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Interest, knowledge, and success in basic and translational research activity are desired beyond specific area of interest. Qualifications for the position include PhD or equivalent degree; at least 2 years of post-doctoral training; and an ability to independently maintain and mentor for current projects.
Salary and Starting Date:
Salary commensurate with experience. Start date negotiable.
