Position:
The Department of Medical Pharmacology and Physiology, University of Missouri-Columbia invites applications for one Research Associate position from candidates whose interests focus on endothelial cell and cancer biology. Current projects include mechanistic studies of the role of membrane proteins in regulating endothelial cell functions pertinent to angiogenesis and cancer.
Qualifications:
Position qualifications include Ph.D. and/or M.D. or an equivalent from the foreign institution, at least 3 years of postdoctoral experience, evidence of productivity in English journal publications, and ability to maintain and mentor ongoing projects. Successful applicants will have technical experience with isolation and culture of endothelial cells, gene knockdown with siRNA and shRNA, gene delivery using replication deficient adenoviruses and lentiviruses as well as transgenic and knockout mouse models.
