Clinical Assistant Professor/Associate Professor - Anesthesiology (050619)
Position:
The University of Missouri-Columbia, College of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery seeks applications for a clinical track faculty position in anesthesiology.
Responsibility/Duties:
As one of three full-time anesthesiology faculty, the chosen applicant will participate in the operation of a busy small and large animal anesthesia service and the teaching of didactic courses.
State-of-the art monitoring equipment is available in the setting of a modern veterinary medical teaching hospital. Clinical service and related
instruction (anesthesia, pain management, and perioperative medicine) are expected to constitute approximately 75-85% of the faculty assignment with remaining time devoted to didactic teaching, clinical research, or administrative service. The individual will be expected to contribute to the College’s overall goals through teaching, clinical service, collaborative or independent research and outreach.
Qualifications:
Qualifications include eligibility for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Missouri and Diplomate status or eligibility in the American College of Veterinary Anesthesiology (ACVA).
